NYCOA Film Grades

Engineered polyamides for blown, cast, and extruded films

NYCOA has developed its nylon grades in the NYCOSIX and NYCOADAPT product families for applications in the film industry, including blown and cast films at a variety of thicknesses, levels of clarity, and flexibility.

In addition, more recent innovations in families at NYCOA such as NXTamid and Ny-Flex have allowed us to introduce materials with exceptional characteristics in transparency, extreme flexibility, and chemical resistance.

NYCOA has decades of experience developing and commercializing specialty nylon resin chemistries, including engineered polyamides used for industrial film applications. In 2020, NYCOA also received FDA approval for its first food-contact-grade nylon material for use as a component in film constructions for consumer food products. With this range of nylon materials for different film applications, NYCOA excited to deliver a valuable solution for your film application needs.
