Nylon 6 & Copolymer Resins

Under the NYCOA product family, several premium polyamide-based products are available for a wide range of applications.

• NYCOA’s unique and versatile manufacturing lines, enables production of virtually any Nylon 6 based copolymer resins.

• NYCOA also offers Nylon resins which are in-situ modified with inorganics such as Nano-clay particles and micronized silica particles.

This broad nylon product offering is available in a wide range of viscosities including low, medium, high, and ultra-high. In addition, nylon extractable levels can be customized, along with certain additive packages to meet customers’ specifications.

NYCOA nylon grades are suited for injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, and rotational molding methods.

Due to their excellent balance of properties and higher added value versus competitive engineering materials, NYCOA nylons are used in a wide variety of market segments such as wire and cable, monofilaments, fluid containment tanks, tubing and profile, automotive, electrical/electronics, and sports and leisure.
