Nylon Corporation of America (NYCOA), a manufacturer of specialty engineered nylon polymers, has joined the American Chemistry Council (ACC), a leading advocacy organization representing a diverse set of worldwide companies engaged in the business of chemistry.

“At NYCOA, safety is our foundational value, and a commitment we make both internally in our organization and externally with our products,” said Jonathan McEuen, Vice President of Business Development and R&D at NYCOA.    “We find that our commitment to operational excellence matches well with the mission and goals of ACC and its member companies and believe we will be able to bring this focus and passion to work with our peers who share it and view it as a primary way to deliver the value and promise of chemistry and chemical engineering.”

Jay Bizarro, president and CEO of NYCOA commented, “In joining  ACC, NYCOA is excited to bring a revitalized and outstanding organization into the broader ACC community to support our collective goals of responsible manufacturing, innovation through chemistry, good material stewardship, and efficient, effective production.”

NYCOA, acquired by Wembly Enterprises in 2013, produces all materials in the USA from its plant in Manchester, NH.  NYCOA has spent the past 7 years investing in significant improvements in waste reduction, diversification of nylon production capability(expanding from being primarily a producer of Nylon 6 and copolymers of Nylon 6 to also producing long chain polyamide products such as Nylon 6.10, 6.12, performance terpolymers, as well as more innovative novel copolymers and compounded specialty nylons), and operational excellence driven by investments in technology, systems, and expanded capabilities.

NYCOA has over 60 years of excellence, consistency and quality in the manufacture of specialty engineered polyamide materials. With continuous, batch, compounding and pilot and lab production, NYCOA develops specialty nylon for both niche performance markets as well as global supply chain.
